Problem solving

I have given more emphasis this year on problem solving with my first grade math students. At conferences yesterday, parents expressed amazement at all their child is learning in first grade in this area as well as others. For example, the kids are very excited about doing 6 digit sudoku puzzles. I wouldn't be surprised if they're completing easy 9 digit puzzles by year's end. In first grade...pretty cool.

First class

Last week's class was enlightening. Gave me a taste of how little I know about Gmail and how much there is to learn. Margaret's patience is much appreciated. Looking forward to new discoveries today.
